*These refills are from the original refill manufacturer. Sensa has stopped stocking these refills so we have gone directly to the manufacturer so we can continue to provide our Sensa customers with original manufacturer refills, they just don't say Sensa anymore.

Hints:
 | DO NOT lose the spring. When you replace the refill it does not come with a new spring. Springs are available upon request. If you loose your spring, the pen will not work. Do not send it in for repair, just replace the spring! Call Sensa Repair 1.800.BestPen |
| Do not tap, use excessive force or drop your pen on its tip. When dropped, the nib can be damaged or is pushed in and with the pressurized refills you might loose the nitrogen pressure causing the refill to become erratic. You too might become erratic if dropped on your head! |
| To replace the refill, hold the Grip in one hand and the barrel in the other. Unscrew carefully and remove the old refill, do not loose the spring! |

Rollerball Note: Caution the Rollerballs will wick out in your pocket if not retracted, or if a lot of loose fiber is in your pocket. If you forget and your shirt is spotted, we do have a spot remover which might work! |

People have asked for more information about the Pressurized refills. We found the following on the Fisher Space Pen Co. web site: http://www.spacepen.com/usa/index2.htm
Unlike ordinary ball pens which rely on gravity to feed ink, the Space Pen’s replaceable cartridge is pressurized. At nearly 50 pounds per square inch, ink is continuously fed to the tungsten carbide ball, allowing the user to write at any angle, even upside down. This advancement required the development of a special ink.
The new visco-elastic ink, with a consistency similar to that of very thick rubber cement, flows as a result of the shearing action of the rolling ball in its socket.. This shearing action liquifies the solid gel thixotropic ink, allowing the pen to write smoothly and dependably on most surfaces and even under water.
Evaporation, wasted ink and back leakage are eliminated. Shelf-life is increased to an estimated 100 years.
